Plants for Shaded Gardens

Whilst it is unusual for most shrubs to tolerate heavy shade, some plants will nevertheless grow quite happily in reduced light. Plants such as Fatsias (Castor Oil Plants), Hollies and Mahonias will stand out for their foliage whilst plants such as Camellias will offer striking flowers.
