DUNSCAR'S GARDEN OF THE YEAR 2006
We are pleased to announce the winner of our, ‘Garden of the Year 2006’ Competition.
The standard of entries was very high and it was extremely difficult to select an overall winner. However we feel that the garden of Mr Peter Thornton of Formby was the most deserving of our prize of £100 of Dunscar Garden Centre vouchers. Our General Manager Shaun Lewis, presented Peter with his vouchers and a certificate at his home on 24th July 2006.
Peter, an extremely keen gardener, spends 4-5 hours a week working on his garden and has been a customer at Dunscar Garden Centre for over 25 years. The judges were
particularly impressed with Peter’s exceptional lawns, the quality of which could even have graced a bowling green.
