The main shop is managed by our Indoor Sales Manager Donna O’Hara. Donna joined us in April 2005. She and her team of customer service assistants manage an extremely diverse and growing range of products. When not fending off legions of sales representatives Donna enjoys walking, gardening and spending time with her baby grandson.
As keen gardeners ourselves we recognise the need to cater for the gardener’s every need. Accordingly you will find that we stock everything from a grease band to a tree stake. We have also invested our experience to identify the most reputable suppliers for a wide range of plant care products and composts. As part of our continuous expansion we now also stock a much broader range of gardening tools and irrigation systems.
Many of our shop staff have been recruited specifically because of their own keen interest in gardening and knowledge of plants. We are proud that so many have taken advantage of our plant care training courses. As a result you can be sure to find a wealth of experience and knowledge on how to maintain your indoor and outdoor plants in perfect health.
Our houseplant department has now been completely reorganised to ensure that we offer not just a good selection of top quality and in some cases exotic plants, but also a stunning range of stylish and colourful pot covers. We have even introduced a range of Bonsai trees. As you would expect from a quality plant centre, our knowledgeable staff can also advise on the care of your houseplants and suggest the most suitable products to maintain them in peak condition.
Throughout the summer we have a range of colourful hanging baskets and planted up containers. However, we can also provide plants to fill your baskets and containers with colour over the autumn months too. We also stock a wide choice of bulbs and seeds to ensure a dazzling display of colour in your garden the following spring.
Encouraged by the many gardening and gardening makeover TV programmes, many people are coming to recognise that the garden is capable of becoming an outdoor living and dining room. This year, as part of the many changes we have recently introduced, we have expanded our range of products to enable you to make the most of this extra room. For example we have increased our range of top quality Napoleon Gourmet Grills and Dancook barbeques which includes a grill that may be fuelled with either gas or more traditionally with the use of charcoal. We have also increased our range of garden furniture and introduced a stunning range of conservatory furniture.
As a specialist plant centre we are well placed to advise you on what plants will grow well in your particular garden whether you are looking for something exotic or something to attract wildlife. However, it is not just plants that create that magical feel to the garden and indeed some people may only be looking to enhance a patio or courtyard. We can offer a wide array of landscaping products and garden structures ranging from gazebos to sheds, outdoor water features to rockery stone, and stone planters to garden lighting.
