Leave the M6 at Junction 32 and turn left off the slip road
at the roundabout towards Preston (do not join the M55). Take
the first left and turn left again at the next roundabout. At
the third roundabout go straight on towards Ingol and Preston
Sports Arena on Tom Benson Way (B6241). Continue on this road
for 3 miles going straight on at every roundabout, passing the
Sports Arena, crossing the canal and paralleling the railway.
At the second set of lights turn right and then follow the signs
for Penwortham, A59 Liverpool and A565 Southport. Once through
Penwortham (watch out for the speed cameras) continue on the
A59 for 6 miles until reaching the Tarleton crossroads and lights.
Go straight on towards Southport on the A565 (the A59 veers
left to Liverpool). Dunscar is a further 0.7 miles on the right.
