Leave the M6 at Junction 27 and turn left off the slip road towards Parbold on the A5209. After 4 miles at the bottom of the hill just after entering the 30mph zone (watch out for the hidden speed camera) turn right into Lancaster Lane. After ¾ mile and entering Hilldale turn left into Robin Lane towards Rufford on the B5246. After 3½ miles of open countryside cross the Rufford level crossing and turn right at the T junction on the A59 towards Preston. After 3 miles turn left at the Tarleton traffic lights onto the A565 towards Southport. Dunscar is found on the right hand side 0.7 miles from the traffic lights.
