Leave the M61 at Junction 8 and pick up the A6 in the direction of Chorley. At the first roundabout take the 1st exit and move immediately into the right hand lane. At the 2nd roundabout (Hartwood Inn on the right) turn right onto the B5252, Euxton Lane, leaving the hospital on your left. After 1½ miles (just after the Fire Brigade Training Centre on your right) turn right at the roundabout onto the A581 to Euxton. After 1 mile turn left briefly on to the A49 and then right at the mini roundabout back on to the A581 towards Croston and Southport. Continue for about 4½ miles to Croston. At the T junction by Croston station turn right onto the B5247. Pass through Bretherton and after 2¼ miles turn left at the roundabout onto the A59 towards Liverpool. Cross the river and canal into Tarleton and at the 2nd set of traffic lights head straight on towards Southport on the A565 for ¾ mile. Dunscar Nurseries is on the right hand side.
