On the evening of 21 February we will be holding another dinner followed by a talk in the Garden Café by local author of crime fiction, Roger A Price. The event commences with dinner at 7pm and is open to ticket holders only. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Garden Café for £12 per head. The cost of the event includes a two course meal, tea or coffee and attendance at the talk. A vegetarian dish will be available on request.
Roger has has had three books published and a fourth is imminent. His latest work, Nemesis, is available in print or Kindle form from Amazon.co.uk. His books have received excellent reviews. The fourth, Vengeance, is due to be published this spring.
Roger served for over 31 years with the Lancashire Constabulary, the Regional Crime Squad and the National Crime Squad. He retired in the rank of detective inspector in charge of a covert unit in Lancashire, which received local and national acclaim for its successes in engaging those who openly sold Class A drugs, such as heroin and crack cocaine.
Roger now writes fiction based in part on his experiences, and in part from his fevered imagination. Roger will talk on his experiences both in the Police and as an author. He will also sign copies of his books.
