Finally we can announce that work has started on extending our catering facilities. After several frustrating delays the equipment is ordered, the tradesmen booked and there will be a hive of activity over the remaining weeks of February. The new operation, housed in the former Cook Shop, will offer a hot servery and a self-service cold service point, as well as the current range of hot and cold drinks. Our aim is to open it for service in March to provide a better choice of catering and more seating in time for the busy Mothering Sunday. The food and décor will reflect both the best of British food and our local farming heritage. The new facility will operate alongside the existing restaurant but the current coffee shop will become a quiet sitting area only. This is just one part of the many changes due to occur in improving our catering operation including the installation of new tills capable of processing our loyalty cards. We hope you will enjoy seeing the transformation over the next few weeks.
