The weather may be rather chilly just now but we have just the thing to bring a glow to your cheeks on cool Spring or Summer evenings in the garden. We have just imported a range of Northern Indian fire bowls, called Kadais (pronounced Ka’die). These rustic cooking pots are made from recycled high grade steel oil drums in Rajistan where they are used for cooking at home, festivals and weddings. They can burn charcoal of logs and can be used not just for barbecuing and baking potatoes, but by adding a tripod and a hanging pot or stone, for chillis and even pizzas too. Once the cooking is complete they can be transferred using the two fitted side handles, to a stand of a lower height to sit round and watch the flames dance the night away.
